On June 23, the Newport Beach-based Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF) hosted Stand & Salute, a collaborative online Giving Day to support five local nonprofits serving veterans and their families in Orange County.
During this Giving Day, 339 donors contributed $262,912 to participating nonprofits to support their vital missions on behalf of heroes living in Orange County, including 2-1-1 Orange County; Goodwill of Orange County; Strong Families, Strong Children (a program of Child Guidance Center); Support The Enlisted Project (STEP); and Working Wardrobes.
