Sharon Johnson joins OCCF as the Senior Director of People and Culture. She is responsible for providing direction and oversight of all aspects of Human Resources, including enhancing the employee experience, implementing recruitment and retention strategies, employee development and driving human resources innovation.
Sharon has over 24 years of leadership in Human Resources Management in various industries including manufacturing, retail, distribution, and higher education. Sharon joined OCCF from California State University, San Bernardino where she held the role of Executive Director of Human Resources. Sharon also worked at Associated Students Inc., California State University, Fullerton where she held the role of Director of Human Resources. Before working in the HR field Sharon worked in Early Childhood Education for 15 years as a preschool teacher, a Children’s Center Director, and a Regional Director overseeing 14 Early Childhood Education Centers and afterschool programs. Sharon received her Master of Science Degree in Human Resources at Chapman University.
